Wow! The hotel was beautiful and clean and the staff were lovely. Our room was Japanese style, very well designed and spacious for our family of 4 and easily had space for up to 6. The dining and sitting areas were separate to sleeping area so no need to put the beds away. The futon were comfortable and we had air conditioning. The bathroom was large and spacious with separate toilet, two sinks and separate bath and shower room. We had an amazing view of Mount Fuji. There was no noise. The breakfast was excellent with some of the best pastries I've had served with a wonderful view of Mount Fuji. We ate in the Japanese restaurant and the Italian. Both were excellent quality. The onsen was also lovely and relaxing. I wish we had time for a massage as they were very reasonably priced. One of the best things about staying here was the ability to purchase our theme park tickets, register Face ID and get into park 30 mins early. We got straight onto rides with no queue. The park was relatively quiet when we went and two coasters were out of action but I think this would be very useful at peak times when park is busier. It was wonderful to be able to walk to park to and from our room also.

One of the few hotel around Lake Kawaguchiko with views of Mt Fuji and with a slightly more expensive rates if you include dinner. A modern hotel with excellent amenities and close to to Fuji-Q bus stop (50m) for the Shinjuku Expressway Bus. The Fuji-Q train station is a little further with about 20 minutes of walking. Breakfast was good with both international and Japanese options. Easy to get to Chureito Pagoda by train from Fuji-Q station. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to the 3 main train stations at Mt Fuji. The public onsen (next o the hotel) for use free by guests is an excellent set-up and should not be missed. Visit Fuji-Q if time permits.

After our last stay in the themed Thomas room 9 years ago, we were back and stayed at the executive floor - was treated very nicely with in-room Mt Fuji biscuits, Bvlgari toiletries and Pola skincare set, Refa hair dryer…the room design was perfect for us, bedroom and a sitting area separated by sliding doors, tv on both sides. The view from the room did not disappoint - we were very lucky to see Mount Fuji with clear sky. The executive floor benefits did not stop from there. We were let to the sky lounge at 8:30 next morning, and had cream puffs plus drink to redeem at the Italian restaurant. This hotel knows how to treat their VIP customers and well.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean and well equipped with a great bathroom, including a full size bath. Worth paying extra for room with a view of Fuji as the view was insane. Wasn’t able to use the onsen due to being tattooed (was aware of this before), however had an amazing massage at the hotel spa instead for half the price it would be in the UK. Hotel restaurant food was great and staff were helpful and accommodating with dietary requirements (vegan with a peanut allergy). Good location, Lake Kawaguchiko 40 mins walk away, station/bus stop 15 mins walk away. 7/11 just around the corner.

The hotel has an excellent view of Mt Fuji, as long as you order the rooms with Mountain View. The staff are super friendly even in Japanese standard, the best I have ever had. Their buffet breakfast was excellent too, with a good variety of food and the taste is amazing. Access to Onsen is included, and there’s a dedicated corridor to access the Onsen. It was quite an experience for us and we will definitely recommend it to anyone else. The hotel room is bigger than other hotels we stayed in Tokyo, that’s understandable but still a pleasant surprise.
